- Systems Administrator
- Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates complicated and difficult hardware devices
and/or systems. Plans and evaluates technical projects, or phases of projects, and may
coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and
electronics technicians as required. Develops and recommends design approaches for new
or improved products and/or processes. Consolidates results of hardware design elements
for assigned projects. Conducts independent technical investigations involving the origination
or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements. May
evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. May provide task
direction to team members.
- Recommended Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience OR equivalent experience and training.
- Project Manager
- Responsibilities include managing and implementing all aspects of full system development
life cycle methodology and best practices for web-based custom software application development
projects. Position requires in-depth experience with formal SDLC methodologies (e.g., RUP/XP),
object-oriented analysis and design practices, IT/web-based technologies, n-tier architectures,
databases and user interface design. Previous federal IT project experience, knowledge
of Federal Enterprise Architecture and information security standards a plus. BA/BS, Masters
in IT-related study a plus. Work is centered in the Metro-DC area, with potential for occasional
travel. Positions require SECRET clearance (either current/active or ability to secure
such).
- Requirements Analyst
- Primary responsibilities include requirements definition, functional testing, system
documentation, end-user training and support for web-based custom software application
development projects. BA/BS and previous work experience in a consulting environment. Work
is centered in the Metro-DC area, with the potential for occasional travel. Positions require
SECRET clearance (either current/active or ability to secure such).
- JDeveloper SW Engineer
- The successful candidate will work as part of a small team developing
a new, web-enabled system to replace an existing mission-critical client-server application.
The position requires proven experience using all aspects of the Oracle JDeveloper tool
suite to develop large n-tier web-based solutions. BA/BS in computer science or related
field.
