8(a) Program

The 8(a) contracting method is a powerful and flexible contracting tool that saves substantial time, work, and cost during the procurement cycle. Once your requirement has been expressed as a statement of work and available funds have been identified, there are six short steps to contract award with CRI:

  1. Selection of CRI as the 8(a) contract firm
  2. Preparation of the procurement request
  3. Receipt of "authorization to negotiate" from the SBA
  4. Request a proposal from CRI
  5. Contract discussions
  6. Contract award
