Tysons Corner, VA — The GSA Small Business GWAC Center awarded Communications Resource, Inc. (CRI) the “Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS)” contract. STARS is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract that can run as long as seven years. It has a 15 billion dollar program ceiling to provide total Information Technology Solutions throughout the federal arena.
STARS provides a tremendous opportunity to CRI and also provides numerous benefits to clients who use it:

CRI is organized into five business units: Technology Solutions; Security Consulting Group; Business Solutions; Integrated Security Solutions; and, Document Management.
The Technology Solutions Group provides system design and life cycle support; Independent Verification and Validation services; risk management analysis; disaster recovery planning; Geographical Information System design and implementation; Section 508 compliance; and, web design and maintenance including web-based tracking and registration systems.
Additionally, CRI provides EDI/XML migrations, help desk support, electronic document management system development and high volume image scanning and digital libraries. Our production capabilities include any size electronic document management services, digital conversion, digital libraries, and back-file services to commercial and government clients.
The Security Consulting Group performs vulnerability and risk assessments; command center development; policy development; security awareness and first responder training; and countermeasure program management plans.
The Business Solutions Group provides complete Business Continuity Planning; reconstitution and recovery services; Information Assurance support; operations requirements definition, analysis and policy development; capital asset planning, budgeting and acquisition management; and Test, Training and Exercise services for homeland security efforts.
CRI’s Integrated Security Solutions Group provides support throughout the full life cycle of electronic security systems. In house staff provides designs, integration, installation, warranty support and maintenance services of security systems for major Government agencies on a nation wide basis.
This Group also provides facility hardening support which encompasses: lighting; fencing; Mylar blast Protection; utility protection; integrated CCTV; Smart Card technology and biometrics; vehicle barriers (decorative planters, bollards, portable barriers); X-ray machines; metal Detectors (portals and handheld); installation of personnel identification verification and ID imaging/badging systems; key control and key inventory management; safes, locks, storage canisters and containers; and, uninterruptible and emergency power generator systems.
Our Document Management Group provides a complete solution to handling, processing and storage of documents and integrates document management into an organization’s workflow. Document imaging solutions, database development, electronic document management and storage solutions along with training and mobile solutions to assist in moving a business or managing conversion projects are provided by this group.
