MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Communications Resource, Inc. (CRI), a trusted provider of consulting and security services to federal customers for over fourteen years, was presented the USDA OIG’s Woman-Owned, Small Business Contractor of the Year for 2008. The award was presented by the Office of the Inspector General at a ceremony on June 25, 2008 at USDA Headquarters in Washington, DC. CRI’s President/CEO, Ms. Victoria Johnson, accepted the award.
CRI recently completed a project to ensure OIG’s readiness for the Certification and Accreditation of all system applications and general and support environments in compliance with all federal and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements and guidelines.
The Office of Inspector General is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has regional offices located in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; Beltsville, Maryland; San Francisco, California; and Temple, Texas. OIG has more than 40 smaller offices in the Continental United States and Puerto Rico.
