McLean, Virginia – August2026 – Communications Resource, Inc. (CRI), a full-service physical security technology leader, is proud to announce that all 3 of our divisions, Integrated Security, Management Solutions, and Corporate, have been appraised at CMMI Services Maturity Level 3. The appraisal was performed by Software Engineering Services (SES).
CMMI provides organizations with a structured framework for strengthening processes, improving performance, and building capabilities that support consistent results and long-term business objectives.
For CRI, the appraisal reflects an ongoing commitment to disciplined processes, consistent service delivery, continuous improvement, and strong performance in support of customer missions.
“Being appraised at CMMI Services Maturity Level 3 is a significant milestone for CRI and a reflection of our team’s dedication to operational excellence,” said Victoria Johnson, CRI President & CEO. “It demonstrates the disciplined approach our teams bring to delivering high-quality services and continuously improving how we support our customers. This milestone strengthens our capabilities and reinforces the confidence our clients place in CRI to support their most important missions.”
WHAT CMMI MATURITY LEVEL 3 MEANS
An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates that we are performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which forms the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time. Rather than relying on individual project approaches, CRI operates within a mature framework that promotes:
Consistent and repeatable service delivery across programs
Proactive identification and management of risk
Continuous process improvement and organizational learning
Quality assurance and performance measurement
Operational efficiency and accountability
Collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams
These capabilities enable CRI to deliver reliable, mission-focused solutions while adapting to evolving client requirements and organizational objectives.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR OUR CLIENTS & PARTNERS
The Maturity Level 3 appraisal provides additional evidence of CRI’s commitment to disciplined, well-defined processes designed to support consistent performance and continuous improvement. Clients can benefit from:
Predictable, high-quality service delivery supported by defined processes
Reduced program risk through proactive planning and performance management
Greater consistency across projects, teams, and service offerings
Increased efficiency through process improvement
Enhanced transparency, accountability, and measurable performance
A mission-focused partner committed to continuously strengthening its organizational capabilities
Whether CRI is supporting integrated security, enterprise technology, cybersecurity, program management, or other mission-critical requirements, the practices reflected in the CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisal provide a strong foundation for reliable and scalable service delivery.
The appraisal represents the dedication and collaboration of employees across CRI and marks another important milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, operational excellence, and customer success.
As CRI continues to grow, the processes and practices associated with CMMI Maturity Level 3 will support the company’s efforts to deliver reliable, scalable, and mission-focused solutions to federal agencies and commercial clients.
